Meet Cohan Nnanta, The Nigerian Vintage Fashion Entrepreneur
In February 2015, armed with just a Twitter account, an Instagram account, and an eye for vintage classy designs, he started his vintage fashion business and today he is one of the fastest selling vintage clothing retailers in Nigeria.
Meet Cohan Nnanta (@Cohannnn), the CEO, Creative officer and Marketing Manager of Retrocode, a vintage /retro clothing brand that bridges the gap between fashion from the past and contemporary fashion.
Retrocode is a Nigerian company that employs tailors from Nigeria and around the world.
Tapping into the social media buzz, Cohan leveraged on the increasingly popular ‘tab’ system (just in case you don’t know what “tab” slang is, “tab” signifies a service that has been paid for already. we will throw more light on it in our Interview with Cohan. At Retorcode, it is a system that allows people anonymously buy shirts for others by ‘opening a tab’. This gifting system gives everyone the opportunity to purchase one of his vintage designs for a loved one.
The quality of his designs have also caught the eyes of celebrities in Nigeria, which include Patoranking and Seyi Shay to mention a few.
